The Cups are about emotions, and the Sevens are all connected to the Chariot. Therefore, Seven of Cups is about facing a difficult choice with mixed emotions. Self-deception, fantasies, false sentiments, and wishful thinking may cloud your thoughts; don't get carried away. Avoid escapism. Recognize your temptations - greed, desire, power, status, envy. You don't want to get in head over heels, but there's also the danger of feeling paralyzed. However overwhelming it all is, you need to get real and make a sober choice.
