A naked woman dances in the sky surrounded by a victorious green wreath, holding a staff in each hand. In the corners of the card are a man, an eagle, a lion, and a bull. The World card is interpreted as signifying wholeness and mastery. The grand journey is completed. You've accomplished your goals, your purpose is fulfilled. Everything finally comes together and the result is a profound sense of overview. You come back full circle to where you started, but after all that you've experienced you are a different person. Think about how far you've come and what you have achieved!

 

Now that you have come, seen and conquered your World (the metaphorical subsystem you are in), you may at last see where you fit within it. You may start to feel at ease in it.

 

It's interesting to note that the dancer in this 21st card of the Major Arcana has one leg crossed over the other, in a mirror image to card 12, the Hanged Man who is upside down in that same position. The Hanged Man undergoes a sudden shift from the 'normal' perspective to a radical new perspective. The World, in contrast, seems to be about integrating all perspectives by zooming out until everything fits in the same picture: a synthesis encompassing all we know.
