In traditional tarot interpretations, Queens indicate a) adult women, b) personality traits linked to the Empress, who is creative and nurturing, or c) some sort of development, growth. Here, I'd like to focus on the personality characteristics we can associate with each court card.

 

Characteristics of the Queen of Cups (emotion, love) are:

• a mom figure

• a counselor, someone who emotionally supports  others

• emotionally manipulative
